G. Virginia Van De Venter Feb. 3, 1921 ~ Apr. 21, 2013 Former Richmond Resident Virginia passed away peacefully at home with family by her side. Virgina was born in Oakland, CA and moved to San Andreas four years ago and lived here since. She was a member of St. Lukes United Methodist Church and a member of the VFW Womens Auxiliary Post #913. Also the Women of the Moose Chapter #566 all in Richmond. Virginia was married to Romayne Jay Van De Venter (deceased) for 59 years. She is survived by daughter Nancy Baxley of San Andreas, CA and Sharon Hugel of Union City, CA., sibling, W. Bud Lange, two grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral Services are on Friday April 26, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Sunset View Cemetery and Funeral Home, 101 Colusa Ave., Kensington, CA 94530.
