David Franklin Morrow May 2, 1924 - Dec. 12, 2014 Resident of Pleasanton for 42 years David F. Morrow, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away early Friday morning, December 12, 2014. David met the love of his life, Arelia Bauer, in high school, and they celebrated their 70th anniversary on December 5, 2014. He was born in Washington, PA, but as a Commander in the U.S. Navy, he traveled the world. He was a resident of Pleasanton for 42 years, and a member of the John Knox Presbyterian Church in Dublin. David graduated from Washington and Jefferson College, and earned his Master's degree in Economics from the Naval Post-Graduate School in Monterey. After retiring from the Navy, he was in management at the Safeway Corporation. Throughout his life, he took great joy in his family. He loved nature, treasuring his trips to the Tetons. He is survived by his wife, Arelia; children and their spouses, Leann and John, and Dan and Liz; grandchildren, David Arthur, Grace, Audrey, Thomas, Nathan, and Erika; and brother Dwight. He is predeceased by his son, David Lee; his brother, Craig; and his parents, Earle and Pauline. A private service will be held at a later date.

Morse, Margie P. (Moore) - Contra Costa  
Margie (Marguerite) P. Moore - Morse Aug 3, 1940 - Dec 7, 2014 Resident of Concord Margie was a '59 Grad of Pacifica HS-Pittsburg CA & was proud of having been a member of the Concord Assy Order of Rainbow Girls. After surviving a 2nd brain tumor surgery in '59, Margie was left wheelchair bound. As an Activist for persons w/disabilities; charity work & vol. svc were a big part of her life. Her parents, Dale & Jean Moore preceded her in death. Margie is survived by daughters, Denise Moore of San Antonio, TX, & Janine Bolton of Escalon, CA, 4 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. Services will be held 11 AM Dec 27 CPC Church 200 E Leland Rd Pittsburg. Please see Obit/Online Guest Book.
