Twyman, Florence - Contra Costa  
Florence Twyman Resident of Walnut Creek LCDR Florence Twyman, USNR (Ret) passed away 5/31/15 @ the age of 93. Florence was a long time supporter of various organizations including Mt Diablo Rehabilitation Center and Alexander Lindsay Wildlife Museum. Neptune Society services were private by her request. A special thanks to Elder Care Services, companion Serena Glosser and Hospice of East Bay. A celebration of her life will take place 10am July 18, 2015 @ Mt Diablo Rehabilitation Center, 490 Golf Club Rd., Pleasant Hill.

Toly, Margaret Mary - Spokane  
Margaret Mary Toly April 15, 1960 - May 24, 2015 Long-Time Resident of Bethel Island Margaret Mary (Kiefel) Toly, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family, May 24, 2015. Margaret was born to Alvin and Jean Kiefel, April 15, 1960 in Spokane, WA. She was the 6th child of their 9. She attended St. Patrick's grade school, Gonzaga Prep., EWU, and received her Nursing degree from Lewis and Clark College. Margaret married Matt Toly on August 12, 1989 at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Lourdes. They welcomed their daughter, Katie, into the world in 1994. Margaret is survived by her husband Matthew Toly, daughter Katherine Toly, mother Jean Kiefel, mother-in-law Mary Kay Toly, siblings: Michael (Kristi) Kiefel, Kathy (Jerry) McMaster, Mary DeFreese, Joe (Chris) Kiefel, Jerry (Donna) Kiefel, John (Lani) Kiefel, Joanne (Neil) Membrey, and Pat Kiefel, brothers-in-law Walter and Chris (Michele) Toly, and sister-in-law Karen Toly. She is also survived by 19 nieces and nephews and 15 2/3 grand nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles and numerous cousins. Margaret started her Nursing career at Sacred Heart Medical Center, Spokane, WA in 1986 and began her 25 year journey with Sutter Delta Medical Center, Antioch, CA in February 1990 . For all her efforts and contributions, she was also recognized and honored as Sutter Delta's Employee of the Year for 2012. The past 9 years, she was a clinical educator using her creative flare and received many compliments on how fun she made each class. In her honor, the American flag was flown half-mast on Sutter Delta campus for 7 days.

Janice Betty Popper (Rosenberg) Tucker 1913 ~ 2015 Contra Costa County Janice B. Tucker, 101, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2015. She was born July 5, 1913 in New York City. She is survived by her two sons, Robert H. Tucker (Margene) of Sandy, UT and David J. Tucker (Beverly J.). of Concord, CA, and daughter Lynn C. Johnson (Peter) of Woodbury, MN. Also surviving are five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren and their families. David A. Tucker and son Nicholas of Sandy, UT; Justin A. Tucker, (Tacey) and children Sarah S., Lauren M. and Nathaniel J. Tucker of Saratoga, CA; Hilary M. Straus, (Lisa) and son Zachary W. of Folsom, CA; James N. Tucker and son Eli J. Tucker of Piedmont, CA; and Melissa L. Stott, (Michael G.), and children Olivia K., Emily D., Sarah H., Luke M. and Matthew N. Stott of Lehi, UT. She also is survived by the families of Robert H. Popper Jr., Leslie A. Popper Hare, Douglas Popper, Lawrence W. Blank, Jonathan C. Blank, Dr. Bruno Contini of Turin, Italy. Prior to his death in 1967 she was married to San Francisco physician Dr. Sidney N. Tucker. She met Carl Israel Rosenberg in 1974 and married in Lafayette, CA. He passed away in August of 2006 after a marriage of nearly 32 years. In lieu of flowers donations to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2425 Stockton Boulevard, Sacramento, CA 95817 for credit to Friendship Lodge #210 Free and Accepted Masons of California and Hospice of the San Francisco East Bay would be gratefully appreciated.
