Marjorie Mae Carlstrom (Lohr) Aug. 4, 1937 ~ Feb. 24, 2014 Resident of Pinole Marjorie Mae Carlstrom passed away unexpectedly while at home with her family. Marjorie was born in Snowshoe, PA.  She attended schools locally and in high school was a flag majorette. Later she worked as a live in nanny and began to refine her exceptional homemaker skills. At that time she met Aner, the love of her life. They were married in 1957 and enjoyed the good life together in California.  At home Marjorie kept busy cooking, listening to music and making art.  Due to her love of fashion and decorating, she also loved shopping. Socializing and dining out with friends was a special joy. Aner and Marge's travels included road trips back east, favorite nearby spots and cherished adventures afar. Marjorie worked a short time at Neldhams Bakery and proudly earned her diploma from Richmond High School. She devoted her life to her family where her children thrived living happily and carefree. She became a spectacular entertainer throwing the perfect dinner and cocktail parties. She impressed her friends with her woodworking skills and created colorful, artful paintings we all cherish. Marjorie was a member of local art associations and helper with various youth groups. Marjorie was a long time member of Pinole United Methodist Church. Marjorie is survived by her husband Aner Carlstrom, sons Gary and Eric Carlstrom of Pinole, daughter Teresa Carlstrom and granddaughter Jaimee Abelman of Richmond, grandson Jackson  Abelman wife Corie and great grand daughter Amelia of San Rafael.
