Bill Brumley passed away surrounded by family on December 4, 2013.
He was born to Hugh and Versa Brumley of Sparkman, Arkansas on May 17, 1931. He attended Sparkman schools, Tyler Commercial College in Tyler,Texas and served in the Air Force from 1951-1955.
Bill is survived by his wife of 57 years, Patsy. He is predeceased by their son, Anthony and granddaughter Kelly. Bill is survived by his cherished children Cynthia, Greg, Tammy and Debby. Adored grandfather to Brandon, Ashley, Shannon, Jennifer, Kevin and Chris. Beloved great grandfather to Bradley, Brandon and Joey.
Also mourning his loss are his sisters Christine Horvath (Dick) of Concord, Marcella Langley (Robert) of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, Grace Nunes (Dennis Reiz) of Hayward and brother Edward (Nancy) of Martinez. He will also be missed by nieces and nephews as well as a host of friends.
Bill's great joy was to find the right home for his clients. He was an original owner to form Diablo Realty and then moved on to Best Realty Services. Before his Real Estate career, he spent almost twenty years in the newspaper field. He was also an avid volunteer serving sixteen plus years on the Design Review Board, Parks and Recreation and Concord Planning Commission.
Visitation will be Monday December 9 from 1-5p.m. at Moore's Mission Funeral Home, 1390 Monument Blvd., Concord. Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life on December 11 at Concord United Methodist Church at 1645 West Street in Concord at 11:00 a.m.
