David E. Lowe May 18, 1953 - March 13, 2012 Resident of Clayton David was born in Sacramento and moved to Concord at the age of 4. He graduated from Concord High School in 1971 and attended Stanford University, majoring in Biology. Upon graduation in 1975, he married his high school sweetheart, Wendy Blount and started his career in the biotechnology field, working primarily in cell culture and fermentation. He worked at a number of Bay Area companies, where he frequently was recognized for the accuracy and detail of the work he produced. In his free time, Dave pursued his love of opera, and for a number of years, sang with the San Francisco Symphony Chorus. David was preceded in death by his parents David T. Lowe and Carolyn Morgan Lowe. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Wendy Lowe, his son Christian, and daughter Kimberly. He is also survived by his sister Linda Jaeger (John), and brothers Steve (Frankie) and Chris (Pat). A gathering of friends and family in David's memory will be held at a later date.
