Frank passed away due to complications from Parkinson's disease on March 21, 2014. He was born in Butte, Montana on March 21, 1930 and spent his childhood in nearby Anaconda. He graduated from Anaconda High School in 1948, where he played basketball and football. He went on to Montana State on a 2 year football scholarship. He then received an appointment to the United States Naval Academy, and graduated in 1954. He joined the United States Marine Corps
and served 4 years, resigning in 1958. He received the Navy/Marine Corps Medal for saving a pilot's life. In 1960, he went to the Harvard Business School and received his MBA in 1962. He worked for DuPont, Continental Can Company, Avon Products, and Lucky Stores. He retired from Lucky Stores as Vice President of Warehousing, and was a consultant for Lucky and other Grocery companies for another 5 years. He served 2 terms on the Board for Goodwill Industries. He enjoyed golf, card games, Bocce Ball, his friends and family. He is a former member of Diablo Country Club, where he served on the Board of Directors.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Betty, his Daughter Sheila Bakker (Randy), his son Kevin (Crystal), and his 5 grandchildren. The funeral Service will be private, but a memorial will be schedule at a later date at Saint Isadore Catholic Church.
