Robert M. Garrison passed away peacefully on October 8. He was born in Plainfield, NJ and grew up in Westfield, NJ. He was a career Military Officer and attended school in Valley Forge, PA and Norwich University, Vermont prior to a full military career. He served in the Korean and Vietnam wars. Robert settled in Walnut Creek, CA where he and his then wife, Letty, raised three daughters. He then retired from the US Army as a Lt. Colonel, and then pursued a second career in Residential Real Estate.
Robert lived a long full life and is survived by three daughters and one son in law; Patricia Garrison of Danville, CA, Constance Garrison of Tampa, Fl, and Deborah and Michael Thompson of Incline Village, NV. He is also survived by his brother and sister in law William and Bobbi Garrison of Cameron Park, CA and Ben and Pat O'Neal of Fayetteville, GA, and an extensive family of nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to attend Memorial Services Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Hull's Walnut Creek Chapel, 1139 Saranap Ave., Walnut Creek. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Veterans Memorial of Danville.
