Theodore L. Mayer
Nov. 1, 1928 - Nov. 5, 2012
Resident of Walnut Creek
Ted passed away peacefully with his wife, Cindy and their friends at his bedside.
Ted was amazingly gifted with a perfect blend of intelligence and curiosity which served him well as a student at U.C. Berkeley, as an officer in the U.S. Air Force, in his long and distinguished Engineering career and in his lifelong study of Math and the Sciences. He was loving, unique and remarkable, always generous with his time and knowledge.
Ted is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Cynthia "Cindy" Mayer, nieces and nephews Kim Mayer, Karyn Hornick and Andrew Hornick, Gregg Mayer and Shoko Kiyono, Randy Mayer, sister Joanne Roberts and brother Frank Mayer, and many loyal and wonderful friends.
A Celebration of Ted's Life is being planned for a later date. Any donations can be made to one's favorite charity or to Animal Rescue Foundation/ARF. Offer condolences at www.oakparkhillschapel.com
