Tony passed away on Tuesday 11-12-13. He was born and raised in Antioch and graduated from Antioch High School, 1951. He then worked for U.S. Steel Mill until he was drafted to the Korean War where he was a dog trainer. He played fast-pitch softball for Pittsburg and won several trophies for pitching "no-hitters". He was preceded in death by his wife Gloria and 3 sisters. He is survived by his sisters Lola and Lucy, his children Anthony (Sharon) Martinez, Arthur Martinez, Elizabeth (Pooch) Borjon, 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He loved all animals and donations can be made to animal shelters in lieu of flowers. Funeral services will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery outdoor chapel on Tuesday, November 19 at noon.
