Resident of Danville
Al passed away at the age of 66 from a very hard 5 year battle with cancer. He amazed everyone how he could fight so hard with kindness, humor and a wonderful smile.
As an insurance agent, he loved helping his clients. He also loved bowling, golf, bocce; but family was always first.
He leaves his wife Jean of 35 years, and two children. Daughter Cheryl (Nick) Lovejoy, grandson Eli, granddaughter Claire and son Scott. He is also survived by his sister Vivian in Ohio and her family.
Please join us in celebrating Al's life on Oct. 3 at 1:00 pm at the Chapel of San Ramon Valley 825 Hartz Way Danville. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Little League Baseball, Inc., Attention: Chief Financial Officer, 539 U.S. Route 15 Highway, P.O. Box 3485, Williamsport, PA 17701-0485.

I'm so sorry to hear this! Al was our insurance agent for many years and a friend before that. He and Jean were always so wonderful and helpful. I will miss Al's great sense of humor and kindness.

Al has been my insurance agent for YEARS. He was always so kind and helpful. I was so sadden to receive news today that he had passed. May God bless his soul and that his family know that he was a well respected man. My deepest sympathy to all the family!

Al was my agent for ~36 years. I loved talking to him - he always had good advice (insurance-wise), and he made me laugh. My heart goes out to his family - I will keep you in my prayers.

I've known Al for nearly 35 years. He always brought a smile to my face and made me laugh every time we spoke. (And watched All My Children together.) My thoughts are with Jean, the love of Al's life, and his children. Al will be missed.

Al has been my insurance agent since I was 16 years old. I am now almost 50. He had a great sense of humor. I pray that his family and friends will be comforted by God and that the time will come sooner than later that they will be able to remember him with smiles on their faces instead of tears.
