Cory Bartlett Obituary

Cory Alexander Bartlett Jun 23, 1987-Dec 7, 2013 Resident of Livermore Cory Alexander Bartlett went home to be with the Lord after a long hard battle with addiction. Though we wish he was still here with us, he finally won no more pain, no more suffering and nothing but peace in the glory and presence of the Lord. Cory loved hard and cared deeply. He had a huge heart and would give and do all he could for anyone who crossed his path. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his father and mother, Don and Karen Bartlett; his brother Ryan and his wife Becca; his brother Jacob; his sister Chelsea; his Grandmas Margaret Bartlett and Marilyn Elkins; Uncle John and Aunt Joann Bartlett; Uncle Richard Bartlett; Uncle Frank Bartlett; Uncle Jeff and Aunt Angela Elkins; his niece Cheyenne Bartlett and his nephew Levi Ruppert who he loved and adored. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, December 13, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Graham-Hitch Mortuary, 4167 First Street, Pleasanton, CA. The family is in the process of establishing a foundation in Cory's name to help those who struggle with addiction. In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made to Chase Bank Account #532207169 for Cory Bartlett.

Cory,
There are no words to express the amount of loneliness I've felt since you left for a better place. My heart and soul were crushed, my world shattered, my universe obliterated. You have been the only man I have ever been completely and totally in love with. I miss your hugs and kisses, cuddling and laughing together. But most of all, I miss looking into each other's eyes in complete silence.
The love we shared was like no other. The bond we have is something not encountered by many. We have something that tons of people look for their while lives.
I'm so grateful to have met you, thankful to have your friendship, and blessed to be your girlfriend. Life will never be the same, I will never be the same. There will always be that part missing. It will be fille again when we meet in heaven. I love you babe and I believe that we will see each other again.

Cory,
I miss you more than ever. Everytime I feel sad I go and look at pictures to reassure myself you are in a better place now. I don't think there is a day that goes by that Your not on my mind. Everytime we would talk it was always to vent and now when I need to vent I dot even want to tell anyone anything because its just not the same I don't have your jokes to make me laugh. You have made me a better person Cory. You will always have a peice of my heart as will your family I shared so many special memories with all of you and I could never forget them. I love you to the moon and back I know your up there watching over all of us but I still miss you and always will love you Cory till we meet again ?

You were one of the most thoughtful and warm hearted people I have ever known! I will never forget your voice or your bright smile. You have been in my life for a long time and I feel blessed to have great memories with you to look back on that I will cherish till the end of time! Though we had our times of separation, I have always considered You a step-brother of mine. You have always been there when I called, and no matter what You may have been doing or going thru, You NEVER did me wrong. You always watched out for Court when I could not, and were always down to ride. You are the last of a dying breed when it comes to friends, and though You are gone physically I know You'll be beside me for the rest of my life.
