Dorothy Kadlec Obituary

Dorothy Jensen Kadlec Resident of Richmond Dorothy Jensen Kadlec, April 5, 1918 September 22, 2007. Dorothy passed away peacefully at home last Saturday, September 22, 2007, at the age of 89. Dorothy had a passion for gardening, playing mahjong and reading. She worked previously at Educational Testing Services in Berkeley. In early years, she and her husband Edward spent time square dancing with many wonderful friends in a group called Buzz in Cousins. Dorothy was predeceased in death by her husband Edward Lawrence Kadlec, brothers, Jimmy and Bill Jensen, and sister, Tina Gamboa. Dorothy is survived by her son Andrew Edward Kadlec and his wife Susan; grandchildren, Derek and his wife Lori, Michael, and Reyna Kadlec, great-grandchildren; Matthew, Ashley, Mary, and Brianna Kadlec. Arrangements are being coordinated through Neptune Society in Oakland. A private memorial service will take place at Chapel of the Chimes Cemetery in Santa Rosa. Dorothy will be missed by those who knew and loved her.

Dorothy was a very special mother to Edward and Suzie and she was also a very special grandmother to her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren and eveeryone who knew her. We all have fond memories of Dorothy.
