Michael Wayne Morgan
Mar 2, 1954 - July 25, 2011
Resident of Concord
Mike, native son of Concord, passed away surrounded by his loving family following a 16- month battle with brain cancer. Devoted husband of Laura and father of Nicole and Michael plus surrogate father of niece, Jenea Reinig. Also survived by mother Dorothea J. Morgan, loving sisters Jackie Zimmerman and Allene Rachuy Morgan and grandsons Richie Grange and Mavrick Morgan. Predeceased by father Wayne A. Morgan and sister Victoria Morgan Angle.
Following Clayton Valley High School he enjoyed a 26-year career as a laborer with MGM Construction Company as a member of Laborers International Union Local 324.
A memorial service will begin at 1 PM Sunday July 31 at
Moore's Mission Funeral Home, 1390 Monument Blvd., Concord, Ca 94520. Reception to follow at the family home.

new Mike since 1983 worked with him at MGM 3 years as a laborer also,one of the hardest working devoted family man i ever knew!Will miss him greatly RIP Brother.

My prayers to the Morgan Family. I went to Clayton Valley with Mike and remember him as the kind of person once you met him you would not forget him. I mean that with the utmost respect he was a good man . My prayers are with his family. Wendy Smith
