Resident of Danville
David passed away August 19, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. Dave was born to Raymond (deceased) and Geraldine Jones on October 5, 1961 in Whittier, CA. Dave received his Bachelor's degree from Cal Poly Pomona in 1984. Dave married Kristen Allred on October 1, 1990 and they resided in Aliso Viejo, CA before relocating to Danville in 2011. Dave was a technology executive affiliated with Chevron, Sun Microsystems, MSC Software and NVIDIA. Dave was passionate about work, family and all outdoor activities and sports. Dave is survived by his wife, Kris; son, Dylan; daughter, Kassidy; mother, Geraldine; sister, Susan (Lee) Morrell; brothers, Stephen and Richard (Karen) Jones Memorial donations may be made to the Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network.

Worked with Dave at Sun and just today learned of his passing. I'll never forget Dave's infectious smile and good nature. Always willing to help. Always able to bring good humor to everything he did. Dave will be missed.

There isn't anyone or anything that could possibly take away your smile, giggle and enthusiasm from my memory Dave. I will treasure my last trip with you in San Fran at the bridge and our reflexology massage with you and my sis. So funny. Our bike ride into Danville, with grandma in tow on the old classic Schwinn is a keeper too. It was an honor to know you and be present. I love you Dave! See you on the other side.
