Tom McKeon passed away peacefully on Friday, Oct. 25, at his home of 46 years. A widower, father and grandfather, Tom was 93.
Tom was born in San Francisco, Ca., where he graduated from Polytechnic High School before enlisting in the U.S. Navy in 1942. He served in Pearl Harbor, Honolulu, Tokyo, and the S.F. Bay Area before discharge in 1946 as Chief Yeoman. Professionally, Tom spent 46 years with Standard Oil of California as a specialist for petroleum products, manufacturing and sales.
Tom was preceded by his wife of 37 years, Marguerite B. McKeon, his parents, Catherine and Edward Thomas McKeon Sr., and his brother, William McKeon. Tom is survived by two sons, Ross McKeon and Scott McKeon, and their families.
A funeral mass is Saturday, Nov. 2, at 1:30 p.m. at St. Isidore Catholic Church, 440 La Gonda Way, Danville.
