Resident of Livermore
Jim Roberts, at age 74, a loving father and husband, passed away with his wife at his side. Born in Oakland and recently residing in Livermore, Jim is survived by his wife
Alicia Roberts and his children, James Roberts III, Emily Roberts and Jill Skjoedt, 3 grandchildren and his step son James Bledsoe.
Jim was a Managing Partner for McGuire & Hester Construction in Oakland for more than 30 years and was responsible for building much of the infrastructure in the San Francisco Bay Area. Jim was an avid Oakland Raider football fan since the team's inception. Jim also served in the US Navy.
Visitatation will be held on Saturday, November 16 from 11am - Noon at Graham-Hitch Mortuary, 4167 First St., Pleasanton, CA. The Memorial Service will be held at Noon followed by a reception.
Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers can be made to: The KAM Foundation, PO Box 1571, El Granada, CA 94018 (www.thekamfoundation.com) for breast cancer patient support.
