James J. Stevens
April 5, 1918-July 27, 2013
Resident of Danville
Jim passed away after a long illness at the age of 95. He was born in Milton, Mass.
Jim is survived by his wife of 68 years. His loving nephews & nieces; Ted & Christine Mitchell (Caroline & Theo), Doug & Julie Mitchell (Garrett & Andrew), Brad & Dare' Mitchell (Colin & Jordan), Eric & Janet Rutan (Jessica), Alan & Debbie Rutan. Jim was preceded in death by his brother & Sister.
He was a veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was a senior Construction inspector with the Sanitary District for 30 years.
Jim's family wishes to offer special gratitude to Reynaldo Alvarez, his caregiver for many years.
At Jim's request services will be private. Donations in Jim's memory are preferred to: Save Mt. Diablo, 1901 Olympic Blvd., Walnut Creek, CA 94596
