JoAnn Marie Foley, wife of Wayne Bryson
JoAnn was born in Bethesda, MD. the only child of Joseph F. Foley and Ann E. Foley. JoAnn's family moved to Anaconda, Montana, her mother's hometown when she was a baby. Later the family moved to a farm in Walker, Iowa where JoAnn attended high school.
JoAnn and her parents relocated to Davenport, Iowa after she graduated from high school where she graduated from Mary Crest College with a BS degree in Social Work.
JoAnn worked at Northwestern Bell in Minneapolis, MN where she met her husband of 34 years, Wayne Bryson. They moved together to New Jersey where they both worked for AT&T. JoAnn and Wayne moved to San Ramon/Danville in 1981. She retired from AT&T after working in San Francisco, San Jose and Pleasanton.
JoAnn was a bright, goal oriented, loving person who devoted herself to her two passions, caring for her uncle, Coleman Mullen and Dog Rescue. She adored her three rescue Maltese dogs, Bella, Butch and Max and helped out with other pet rescues.
Her mother Ann, father Joseph, beloved aunt and uncle John and Marguerite Kelly, beloved Uncle Coleman Mullen and many other cherished family members preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Bryson, several cousins, in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to the Funeral Service Monday October 7th, 2013 at 3:00 PM at the Wilson & Kratzer-Chapel of San Ramon Valley, 825 Hartz Way Danville, with visitaiton from 1:00 PM to service time.
