I will always remember Katherine's and Steve's wedding day and the excitment of having the celebration at their home in the back yard. Katherine readied herself at our home and we had lots of nervous giggles. She was brave, loved Steve and her horses. Once in awhile she and Steve brought two of her horses to our back yard to graze and that in itself was a big task. Fun watching her and the horses figure it all out. I think of her oftren when I look across the street at their home and wish things could have been different. Respectively, Vicky

Steve I am so sorry for your loss. You will meet again someday. Until then I hope you focus on the many, many good memories you made together!

Kathy,
I'll always remember that sparkle in your eyes as you fliped back that shiny chestnut long hair. I can still hear your voice and your laugh, as I sit across the table from you and Connie at our favorite meeting place, chilli's, all spooning at a shared chocolate lava cake. As your husband Steve says, you were "one hell" of a woman, and indeed you were. You will forever live in my heart.
Love, Janet

Katherine was a wonderful neighbor and friend. We enjoyed greeting each other from one side of the road to the other or stopping to chat for awhile. Our occasional get togethers were enjoyable where we would share ideas of building projects, wine and chocolate. Her love of life, Steve, her homes and of course the horses is something we will always remember. We will miss her dearly.

Steve:
I am so sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of working alongside Kathy and our friendship continued after her retirement and throughout her battle with this insidious disease. One of Kathy's endearing qualities was that she was "tenacious" which, coincidentally, is the name of one of the most popular thoroughbred racehourses ever to compete. This is a profound loss for all.
