One time Ken and I were at City Lights bookstore. He saw this book by John Kennedy Toole "A Confederacy of Dunces" and said man you have to read this. Keneddy wrote the manuscript, never could get it published then died. Kneddy's mom found it got it published and one of the best books I read. Would of never known unless Ken turned me on to it. Any one who knew Ken read this book, it is such a insight of Ken's happy intelect. What an Incredible person Ken was.

Ken and I worked together at Pac*Bell. We were good friends. We use to meet in the city and walk all over eating lunch at our favorite Indian restaurant. He was such a great person to be friends with. Every time I fly home out of Oakland I say to my wife that's Bay Farm Island where Ken Lee lives. Was thinking of you dude just last week flying over your home.

Amy, Alex and Carrie: I did not hear the news until this evening, and it saddens me greatly to have heard it. I will always remember Ken's passionate support and love of watching Alex play club soccer for the Adrenaline, and Carrie pitch for AHS softball. Even moreso, Ken always had a smile and warm greeting for me every time I saw him.

I first met Ken while attending a cohort Golden Gate University here at AT&T (Pacific Bell) in getting our undergraduate degree. I remember Ken and Chuck were like brothers and we all became like an extended family because we spent so much time together in class. Once Ken hired on, I use to admire his technical ability along with being a kindhearted genuine man. As years would pass without seeing Ken, his dept moved over to where I was sitting in the East wing and we were reunited again. I sat in his cubical for a while and he told me about his girls and how they were active in softball. I told him I had a daughter who was interested and he gave me the league information. You could always hear how much he loved his family by the glow on his face and that smile of satisfaction as he spoke so fondly of them. Ken was a loving husband and father. He was a great co-worker who always worked hard. Although he didn't have to help me with a project I was working on, he did and put me in contact with one of his peers.

Ken will be missed and I will always cherish the time I knew him.

This morning, I went to our internal website and looked at recent passings from employees and retirees. I have not looked on this page in about 5 years. I was shocked when I saw Ken's name. I believe that God wanted me to know because there is no other reason.

My sincere condolences to your family. God Bless.

Amy,Alex,Carrie,Kenny was my cousin who I
will dearly miss. He sat infront of me in
homeroom from 1st-12th grade, he acted like my older brother and protected me. We had alot of fun at our family reunions

I worked with Ken for several years at AT&T. We had many conversations about his girls and softball. I was shocked to learn of his passing. Ken was a Gentleman in every sense of the word! Be strong and remember the good times. Your family is in my prayers.

Coach Ken,
Pearl and Bernadette and I will forever remember you. You were always quick with a joke or a word of encouragement for everyone on the softball field. Your wise guidance on and off the field helped to shape the characters of hundreds of kids here in Alameda and for that we all will always hold you near and dear in our hearts. Thank you for sharing your beautiful life with ours.

Ken's generosity and friendship is something that will be remembered and treasured. It was a pleasure to coach with him and against him, his work with youth sports should serve as a shining example for years to come.
