Resident of Pleasanton
Margaret S. Terry (Peggy) passed away on Saturday after a valiant battle with kidney failure and cancer. She touched many lives with her caring spirit, warm heart and by just being "mom" to everyone. Amazing strength, incredible courage and an awesome mom!!
Peggy was born in Uniontown, PA spending the last 40 years in Pleasanton. Married to William Terry for 44 years before his passing in 2004. Peggy is survived by three sons; Michael Terry of San Rafael, David Terry of Colorado (with his wife Barb) and Patrick Terry of San Jose (with his wife Tammy) along with three grandchildren, Ashley Molina, Eric Silva and Jacob Terry. Peggy was a fixture in the Highlands Oaks community caring for the neighborhood, rooting for her A's and Giants, and maintaining a weather history going back 40 years (even submitting the official Pleasanton temperature and rain info to the local papers)
Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, Oct. 7th starting at 10:00 a.m. with a funeral service starting at 1:00 p.m. at Graham-Hitch Mortuary, 4167 First Street, Pleasanton, CA 94566 The interment will be at Memory Gardens following the service for immediate family and friends. I will miss my phone calls to my mother n law very much, I will miss sharing my pictures of the flowers from the weddings we do here in Colorado, her sharing recipes with us ...and her stories about her wonderful neighbors...so Blessed to have had her in mine and my son's life these past 4 years... I will miss you more than I can put into words ...I Love you My Babe~ Barb

Michael, David and Patrick, I will always remember your mom and all the memories in Germany and Virginia and even on to California! She leaves a legacy that will be hard to follow! Plese know that we are thinking of you at this sad time.
