Resident of San Ramon
Steven Fabian Corich, a native of Chicago, Illinois, died unexpectedly in his sleep in the early hours of June 29, 2013.
Steve was pre-deceased by his parents, George and Lucy Corich. He is survived by his Loving wife Kathy, Beloved daughters, Kristen and Stacy, and numerous other family members primarily in the Chicago area.
Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial and graveside service Friday, July 12th at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery Chapel, 7101 Verner Ave., Sacramento, CA starting at 11:00 AM with a reception to follow.
Donations in Steven's honor to the American Heart Assoc., P.O. Box 742030, Los Angeles, CA 90074 are preferred.

Steve WAS Rapid Displays. For us Salespeople, we relied on Steve to make or break every deal and I'm sure we did not thank him enough. I loved when we ended up in Chicago for A sales meeting of trade show because Steve would become the Concierge of Chi-town. We should we go Steve? Where should we eat Steve? What areas should we stay away from at night Steve? And he happily guided us along. Peace to you Steve and to all of your family.

Just found out today 11/08/2017.
I call Rapid asking for you...Ready to say hey steve long time no see or talk, But when they say to me he is gone, Just did not feel good, so I look you up and I found out what happen, You always help me with business and you were always a good friend, since my days at Custom Pad then at Bayeux then at Black Lion from, I last saw you at McDonald's with you Daugther back in 2010 she was at Brown University I remember you told me that day, it was the last time we talk, it's just a very sad day for me, THANK YOU STEVE
I will always pray for you, now that I go to church every day, I will not forget you my Friend Steve from Chicago IL.

Steve was a great guy in every way. Always there to listen and help out. At my time at Rapid it was clear that he was the linch-pin that kept all the gears moving. We were all blessed to know and work with Steve.

I am still stunned to learn of Steve's passing, but grateful to have had his friendship. I'll miss our occasional industry gossip chats. He was a consummate professional and just a nice human being. My deepest sympathies to family & friends. Tom Brugger

Today I attend the funeral of my friend Steve Corich, 58, who died in his sleep of a massive heart attack. I worked with him at a company called Rapid Displays. He and I were buyers together. He went on to become a VP of that company. In that fast paced, deadline oriented, pressure cooker of a job -he was always kind, helpful and supportive of me. I don't ever remember him being mean or petty. He was a people pleaser, willing to step up whenever there was a problem that needed to be solved and solve it. He was an incredibly creative problem solver. He taught me a new way to think about problems. Generous. That is the quality I loved the most about him. He was generous with his time and talents and what he knew. And who he knew. And within that industry, Steve knew a lot of people that is for sure--who respected him and enjoyed working with him. Steve was a big tall guy with a big hearted spirit. It is hard to believe that this man with a huge heart - was failed by his own heart. That makes me sad. So for my Catholic friend, today I send prayers up to Steve in heaven. There are no deadlines in heaven, no problems that need to be solved. Just endless love for the person you are. May you be surrounded by God's healing love and light. To Steve's wife and children I send prayers for comfort and guidance in the days ahead. Their loss is unimaginable. May God be with them and surround them with his Holy Spirit.... Steve, know you that you will be missed, all the days of my life.
