Susan was a person who I never heard speak negatively about any person, co-worker, place, or thing. A rare happening in this world of today. Susan was always upbeat, a joy to see and talk with and I still miss her.

Now I know why I didn't hear from Susan at Christmas and why her phone didn't work. Met Susan in 1956 as we worked at the Edison Co. in L. A. So we span a long time. What wonderful memories we had throughout the years.

Susan and Ernie were some of our best friends when we lived in Livermore and also after moving away in 1993. We always saw them whenever we visited town. We visited them in Shangri-La years ago and always enjoyed playing bridge over the years. Susan and Jenny were in the same department at the Lab. Bob and Jenny Crow, Gold Canyon, Arizona.

I met Susan only a few years ago and was immediately taken by her courage, intelligence and dignity. May she rest in peace and may her family find comfort at this time of loss.

I will miss our conversations. Your laugh over the phone and your warm kind spirit. Now you can be with my father and Sheba. HUGS!

My fondest memory of Susan is her ever enduring smile. Her smile: always there to greet you and always there to say good bye. I could even hear it over the phone during our conversations. We will miss you Susan, but we take solace in knowing you are joining Ernie and Sheba in the Shangri-La in the sky.
