W.C. Bowie Bowie died on December 26, 2013, at his home in Walnut Creek, CA, where he lived since 1970. He was born on July 31, 1922. He was preceded in death by his Wife Katherine in 2006. He is survived by 4 sons, Nathaniel, Wallace, Ricardo & Tyrone, and 1 daughter, Sherlene O'neil, 2 sisters, Billie Barnette & Dorothy Pankerskeeve, and 1 brother, Robert and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews & other relatives & friends. His funeral is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan 8, 2014, at 11:00 a.m., at Fair Oaks Baptist Church, at 1925 Rison Rd., Concord, CA, with viewing beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the church. He will be laid to rest at Oakmont Memorial Park in Lafayette, CA
