Angie Sardell DiGiusto passed away in Walnut Creek May 31, 2013 at the age of 88.
Angie was born in Los Angeles, Ca. to her parents Mary and Andrew Nicholson. Wife of the late Gus Constantine, Andrew John Sardell and Al DiGiusto.
Mother of the late Jeffrey Sardell. Grandmother of Angela Yvonne, Zoe, Jeffrey, Shalee and Ashlee. Sister of Constantine A. Nicholson "Tag". Aunt of Paul and Michael. Great Aunt of Stephanie, Lisa Christopher and Andrew. God Mother of Carole Vlahos Pryor and Alexis Anast Macciocchi. Angie is also survived my many loving Step children and Great step children. She was a graduate of UC Berkeley class of 1948. She was a member of Epsilon Phi Sigma where she made seven lifelong friends, a private group called "Leader Seven". Angie wants to be remembered "for love of her family and passion for golf, bridge playing, bowling and living on the water". She received a trophy for a Hole-in-One at the San Leandro Golf Course. She will be missed by her loving family and many dear friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend Trisagion Services Tuesday June 4, 2013 at 7:00 PM at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Ascension, 4700 Lincoln Ave., Oakland. Funeral Services Wednesday June 5, 11 AM at the Cathedral. For further information please call: Harry W. Greer, Funeral Director (FDR-745).
In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Ascension Cathedral Chapel Fund.
