ANNA MAE MORRIS Obituary
Anna Mae Morris Jan. 1, 1918 - Sept. 10, 2012 Resident of Martinez Anna Mae Morris was born in St. Louis, Missouri. Having lived 94 full rewarding years, Anna returned to Gods loving presence on Sept. 10, 2012. She will join her husband, John B. Morris and her parents, John Adam Fischer and Anna Margaret Fischer. She is survived by her daughter Susan and husband Jim Ahrens and granddaughter Tracie, grandson Jim and his wife Christine and great grandchildren Jimmy and Isabella. Also survived by son John B. Morris, Granddaughter Lauren, grandson Sam and great grandchildren, Trenton and Mariah. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Anna and John came to California after the war. She was a modern day woman, a wonderful homemaker and gracious hostess who made everyone feel welcome. She had many interesting jobs and was an exemplary worker all her life. Her last job was working for the California Highway Patrol in Martinez at the busy front desk and retired after 19 years with a perfect job history. Anna had many friends and she cherished all of them. Anna was a loving Mother and Grandmother, always fun and kind. A ray of sunshine to her family and friends. We will miss her terribly. May she rest in peace. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Queen of All Saints, Concord, CA. Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Lafayette, CA.
