Bonnie Trammell 84-years of age, passed away in Concord on July 9, 2012. She was born and raised in Gracemont, OK. Bonnie moved to Brentwood, CA in 1943, where she met her husband of 62-years, Billy Trammell.
Bonnie was an accomplished homemaker known for her baking, home-made ice cream and crocheting. In addition to raising her own three daughters, she was entrusted with the care of many other children throughout the years and was a loving 'Grandma' to them all.
Hobbies for Bonnie predominantly centered around family and church. For many years she was an active member of the Church of Christ in Walnut Creek. She was always counted on to bring her wonderful pies to potluck dinners.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband Billy Trammell, her parents, Guy and Ina Lyon and two sisters. She is survived by her three daughters, Linda Cooper (Gary); Brenda Jaques (Loren); Lana Richardson and brother Frank Lyon. She had five grandchildren, Cathy Morris, Tracey Morse, Mark Jaques, Kelly Brown and Dana Grigg and twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00PM, Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Ouimet Bros. Concord Funeral Chapel, 4125 Clayton Road, Concord, CA. Funeral Services will be at 12:00Noon, Friday, July 13, 2012 at the Church of Christ, 500 Minert Road, Walnut Creek, CA. Interment will follow in Oakmont Memorial Park, Lafayette, CA.
