Carolyn Furlong Dildine passed away in Walnut Creek on February 14, 2013 at the age of 87. Carolyn is predeceased by her first husband, Edward P. Furlong and her second husband, Thomas C. Dildine. Carolyn is survived by her long time companion David Pressnall. Carolyn is lovingly remembered by her children Judy Furlong DeMartini (Bob) and Brad Furlong (Eileen), her grandchildren Megan Harris (Heather), Wesley Furlong, Amelia Furlong, Madeline Furlong, and her sister Ellen Ristad.
Carolyn graduated from Oakland High School where she met her first husband. She attended classes at UC Berkeley but went to work for Aramco when World War II began. In her earlier days, she loved to cook, garden, read, do crosswords, and travel.
Services will be private. Memorial donations may be made to your favorite charity.
