Cliff, age 74 was born in Longmont, Colorado and lived there until the family moved to Ca. in 1942. Cliff graduated from Antioch High School in 1956 and entered the Army in 1961 and served in Germany. After discharge in 1967 he worked for a period of time at Crown Zellerbach, for Therman Rich and then Fulton shipyard before working for the City of Antioch and retiring in 1997.
Cliff is survived by his wife of 45 years Robyn (Marglin) and his two sons, Dean (Cindy) of Antioch and Todd (Beckie) of Kremmling, Colorado, and his grandchildren which he adored, Krista, Christian, Hope, Emily, Cora, and Porter. He also leaves behind his beloved pets, Elvis, Priscilla, and Mackenzie. Also, sisters Nellie Mcphee of Lodi, Carol Rich of Antioch and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Carl (Whitey) and Pearl Osborne, and his brother Carl Jr. Osborne.
Cliff is a life member of the VFW Post 6435 of Antioch and belonged to the ARNAMA club of Antioch. Thru the years he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going for abalone, playing lob ball, watching the Minnesota Vikings and the St. Louis Cardinals, and Tuesday evening dinners with friends.
Cliff will truly be missed by his family and friends.
Services will be Tuesday, Dec. 3rd at 11:00am at Higgins Funeral Chapel, 1310 A St., in Antioch, with a reception to follow at the VFW Hall on Fulton Shipyard Road in Antioch.
