Resident of Alamo
"Great souls never die. They bring us together again and again." Maya Angelou
Dabney "Bud" Miller of Walnut Creek, CA passed away on Oct. 23, 2013 at the age of 85. After serving his country in the Korean War, Bud returned home to marry his high school sweetheart, Beverly. They lived, loved and laughed together for 57 years, working, building a home and raising their four children.
The Miller family now mourns the loss of a cherished Husband, Father, Grandfather and Friend. But we also celebrate Bud, the essence of a gentle man. He had a profound effect on all who knew him. He was kind, genuine, accepting and always had a song in his heart. He was quick with a joke and his infectious laugh was legendary.
Bud is survived by his loving wife, Beverly, his daughter Tracy, sons Scott, Brad, Paul and their wives, and his grandsons, Daniel, Justin and Jonathan. Bud, you will forever be missed by your family and friends, but we rejoice in having known you. Your guiding hand will always be upon our shoulders.
