Resident of Concord
After a full and satisfying life, Elizabeth Jean Turner Kerr, 93 died at home in Concord. She was predeceased by her husband, Jack.
Elizabeth was a long time resident of Concord; since the times when there were more almond and walnut trees than people. In addition to many other admirable qualities, Elizabeth was a wonderful mother and talented musician. She will be missed by many.
Elizabeth is survived by her children, Jeanne Kerr, Joan Kerr, Judith Kerr (Bob), Jennifer Kerr (Stan), and John Kerr (Peggy). Grandchildren are Regina Kerr Taylor, Christopher Taylor, Talia Kerr, Kekauilani Zukeran-Kerr, Keanini Zukeran-Kerr, Micah Kerr, and Jennifer Kerr. She also has 3 great grandchildren.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 10:30 am Saturday October 12 at Mt. Diablo Unitarian Universalist Church, 55 Eckley Lane, Walnut Creek. Lunch will follow. Please RSVP for lunch at 925-639-7782.
