Obituary Condolences

Floyd R. Moss Resident of Walnut Creek Floyd Moss passed away on November 12, 2013 at his home in Walnut Creek, California. Floyd was born in Cyril, Oklahoma in 1925. He was a Navy Quartermaster on the USS Hornet in WW II (Pacific Theater) and Korea. After serving in the military he graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Fine Arts. He owned Diehl's Interiors in Richmond for many years, and resided in El Sobrante, CA for over 40 years. He is survived by his wife, Billie Jo (Parker) Moss, whom he married in 1947. He is also survived by daughters Brenda (Jim) Awtrey of Martinez, CA and Mendy (Mike) Droke of Bainbridge Island, WA and grandchildren Tim Awtrey, Dan Awtrey, Becky Blanco, Will Droke and Carolyn Droke, and great-grandchildren Samantha, Yanna, Brendan, Alex, Courtney, Madden and Adeline. Friends and family are invited to a visitation at Wilson and Kratzer Mortuary, Civic Center in Richmond on Saturday, November 16th from 10-12.
