James Duane Clark Resident of Brentwood Jim passed away on February 12, 2013 at Kaiser Hospital in Antioch. Jim was born in Syracuse, New York on March 1, 1927 to Hope and Clifford Clark. He joined the Marine Corp in 1945 and graduated from Armstrong College in 1949 with a degree in Accounting. Jim worked in public accounting for 36 years and was a partner of Clark Wong Foulkes & Barbieri, a CPA firm in Oakland . Jim was a member of Yerba Buena & Live Oak Masonic Lodge in Oakland. He was active with Brentwood Lions Club and the Lions Center for the Visually Impaired in Pittsburg. Jim volunteered at Sutter Delta Hospital in Antioch, and was a member of Golden Hills Community Church. He was a very active man and was loved by everyone around him. Jim was preceded in death by his wife Peggy Clark. He is survived by daughters: Jennifer Hardesty (Robert) of Danville, Lisa Cloven (Peter) of Clayton, stepson Tony Weldon (Debbie) of Brentwood, stepdaughters Danielle White (Larry) of Pine Grove, and Sandra Gutierrez (Gunther) of Pittsburg, 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of his life and reception on Friday, March 1 at 1:00pm at the Veterans Memorial Hall 757 1st Street, Brentwood, CA 94513.
