JOANNE LUCCHESE Obituary

Joanne Lydia Lucchese Former Resident of Walnut Creek An amazing wife, mother and grandmother with the achievement of her own in the education field of a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Business and a Master's Degree of Business in Operations. She worked for 26 years with PG&E and 3 years with California ISO as an Operations Analyst. Family came first with Joanne and she is survived by her husband of 41 years, Rudolph (Rudy); her three children, Priscilla, Melissa and David; and thus far her five grandchildren, Austin, Nicolas, Hayden, Lars and Joseph; daughter-in-law, Becky; parents; H.T. and Julie Knight; sisters, Sue and Barbara; niece, Ashley; nephew, Ryan and extended Lucchese. family. Family, generosity and nurturing ways surround her inner being. Joanne encompassed the meaning of a loving mother, wife and grandmother. She loved to cook and feed everyone. She loved to raise flowers from clippings of plants to create new plants. She understood that each clipping was beautiful on its own and different, that needed nurturing and would then grow to be a healthy plant and be forever alive. Through her family and friends she will always be alive. She herself had an understated beauty that will forever live in our lives. We love you, Mom. We love you, Grandma. I love you, Dear. A visitation will be held at the Orchard Ave. Baptist Church in Vacaville on Fri., May 11 from 12:30 to 1:30. The funeral service will follow immediately at 1:30 with Pastor Ken Doan officiating.
