Obituary Condolences

Kenneth Lew Sept. 26, 1925 - Sept. 18, 2010 Former Resident of Pittsburg Twain Harte resident Kenneth Lew died Saturday Sept 18th at Sonora Regional Medical Center. He was 84. Born in China, he served in the Merchant Marines during World War II and worked as a grocer for 30 years in San Fransisco and owner of Ken's Qualify Foods (BONNIES) in Pittsburg. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, SIRs, Toastmasters, Twain Harte Men's Club, German Club, and even taught karate He enjoyed square and ballroom dancing, gardening, fishing, golfing, singing, painting, telling jokes, eating and enjoying life. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Bonnie Lew, of Twain Harte; sons, Don Soo Lew, of Oakley, Ronald Lew, of Pittsburg, Dennis Lew, of Seattle, and Thomas Lew, of Brentwood; daughters, Patricia L. Fong, of Sacramento, Marilyn Lew, of Studio City, Elizabeth McElroy, of Wash., and Bonnie Anita Holt, of Kent, Wash.; 22 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
