Leo Schrupp Obituary

Leo Raymond Schrupp Resident of Green Valley Leo, 55, conceded his fight with cancer and, at his home in Green Valley (Solano County), left peacefully early on July 19, 2009. Leo was born June 8, 1954 in Oakland, CA to Francis and Florence Schrupp. He lived his first 20 years in Lafayette. He attended Acalanes High School, Diablo Valley College and U.C. Davis. Most of his working life was spent in the mortgage business, most recently with First Priority Financial in Fairfield, CA. He was predeceased by his father Francis in 2004. He is survived by his treasured wife Brandi, son Evan (Woodland, CA), and mother Florence (Lafayette, CA). He is also survived by his brothers Mike (Orinda, CA), Jim (Winters, CA) and Bill (Lafayette, CA) and their spouses, brother Paul (Davis, CA) and sisters Molly Schrupp Kostlan (Davis, CA) and Sarah Schrupp-Fujino (El Macero, CA) and their spouses. He was a special uncle to 8 nieces, 8 nephews, 2 great-nieces and 4 great-nephews. He also leaves his aunt Mary (Kay) O'Leary (Walnut Creek, CA) and uncle and aunt Bill and Phyllis O'Leary (Pleasant Hill, CA) and numerous Schrupp and O'Leary cousins. The Schrupp family is indebted to his wife Brandi, and would like to especially thank Leo's many friends and the partners at First Priority Financial for their extreme thoughtfulness. The family held private services.
