Nadine Marie Swafford March 11, 1930 - July 27, 2012 Resident of Martinez Nadine Marie Swafford, age 82, born in Tahoka, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 27th, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She retired from Merrithew (County) Hospital after 25 years as a Food Service Worker. She was a member of Martinez Senior Center. She will be missed by sons Richard (Judy), Larry (Joanne) and daughter Kathy (George) Antunez. Also by 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and sister Billie Crum. She was predeceased by her brother Horton McKay, great grandson Tristan Swafford and former husband Darrell Swafford. A Celebration of Life will be held at Connolly & Taylor 4000 Alhambra Avenue in Martinez on Thursday, August 2nd at 1:00pm and interment to follow at Oakmont Memorial Park in Lafayette. Gathering to follow at Martinez Event Center, 524 Main Street, Martinez.
