Patricia Jean Hoff Mar. 26, 1930 - Mar. 19, 2013 Resident of Danville Patricia Jean Hoff passed away on Tuesday, 3/19/2013, a victim of breast cancer. Despite her struggles with this disease, she maintained her dignity and cheerful nature without complaint. Patricia was born in Duluth, MN, graduated from Denfeld High School, and earned a B.S. degree in Music from the University of Minnesota in Duluth. Following marriage in 1953, Patricia moved to California where she taught music and elementary school in the Antioch and Pleasanton school districts. Patricia also taught piano students privately and sang in the Diablo Valley Chorale, a women's chorus. In recent years, she was active in helping persons recover from mental illness, having served as a founding Board Member of the Putnam Clubhouse in Concord. Patricia is survived by her husband, Richard, children Katherine and Christopher (Rochelle), and grandchildren Kevin, Matthew, and Samuel, all of Walnut Creek. Burial occurred on Thursday, March 28, 2013, at Oakmont Memorial Park, Lafayette, CA. Friends and family attended a memorial service on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at the San Ramon Valley United Methodist Church, Alamo, CA 94507.
