Robert L Hooper Resident of Pleasanton Robert, 80, passed away at home Tuesday May 10th 2011, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Iris; his three daughters Judith (David), Susanne (Clinton) and Betsy (Tom); and his two stepsons David (Nancy) and Ryan. He also leaves his eight grandchildren whom he adored. He served in the USAF as an officer. He was a pioneer in the field of computers He loved his dogs. He leaves one Labrador retriever, Ranger, whom he enjoyed training in obedience and in field work. He was an avid reader, especially science fiction. His choice of music varied, but he mostly listened to classical. Memorial Sservice will be at 3pm on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at St. Clare's Episcopal Church, Hopyard Road, Plea-santon, CA. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to: Golden Gate Labrador Retriever Rescue. 268 Bush St. #4322, San Francisco, 94104 or Kaiser Martinez Hospice, 200 Muir Road, Martinez, CA 94553.
