I still think of Teresa often. She periodically visits me in my dreams where we both are still living as next door neighbors. She is beautiful, kind and giving in those dreams. Of course her family and her Golden retrievers are ever present. My kind thoughts and memories are sent to her family as they mourn the anniversary of her passing.

I was shocked and heartbroken to hear of Teresa's passing. What a beautiful lady. I can still hear her lilting, melodic voice saying my name. My husband Bob and I had the privilege of living next door to the Deanes for 18 years. Our children grew up together and share many fond memories. I recall being a stay at home stepmom in the early years. I was so honored that she chose me as the "emergency contact" for her children when they were little if for some reason she was unavailable. What a gesture of trust. She knew how I loved those kids. Her adorable and always smiling Courtney came to my home to make Christmas cookies and act as my surrogate daughter. Ryan was just the most fun little guy excelling in sports. Jim was her rock and her fortress. It was wonderful to see how devoted they became to each other when they got to experience the empty nest. They were an inspiration. When my husband was in the hospital she organized the neighbors to bring our family Thanksgiving dinner. That's just the way she was: gentle, graceful and giving. Now she is home with The Lord, walking all the golden retrievers, playing tennis and golf, teaching aerobics and keeping the Lord's business affairs in order! Your bright presence is missed here on earth. Love and sympathy to Jim, Courtney, Ryan and the rest of the family from Denise & Bob Riley

I have been a client of Teresa's for many years. I am shocked and saddened to hear of her passing, as I had no idea she was battling cancer. I always knew Teresa to be fiercely brilliant and at the same time kind and empathetic to her clients. She once handled an audit for me with care and precision while assuring her nervous client that we were going to be fine; of course, she obtained excellent results. In addition to her brilliance and unparalleled professionalism, what I appreciated most about her was her calm, reassuring presence, and her sense of humor. Teresa took good care of me and my taxes; I will miss her. My deepest condolences to her family.

I was good friends with Teresa and Bill Cady for many years during our high school days. Although I lost track of her after high school, I remember clearly the fun we had and what a really wonderful, genuine person she was. I am so sad at her passing.

Jim,Courtney,& Ryan,
I am so sorry to hear of this sad news. I remember the day The Deane Family moved onto my mail route and watching the the kids grow up. Courtney learning to surf from Steve Hosa, Ryan taking a spill at the ice skating ring and hitting his head just as I was comig in the door, carried him into Dr. Sanders Office. A little lump oh the head and back to playing a few hours later. Lots of conversations over the years took place on the sidewalk leading to the mailbox, those are not forgotten. Again, I am so sorry for your loss. Love, Ron (The Mailman)

Teresa and I met about 5-6 years ago while serving on jury duty at the Torrance Courthouse. We sat together in the assembly room and then later when we were chosen as potential jurors. She was such a pleasant, charming and gracious woman. She told me how proud she was of her children and how her husband, though retired, would "help" her around the office. Her husband would pick her up for lunch during our meal break. They looked so cute together. It was a pleasure to meet such a nice person.
I send my most heartfelt condolences to her family.

The Hill has lost a beautiful and bright star. No matter how many times I read the letter from Mr. Deane, it seems impossible that I won't see her again. Besides being my CPA, we enjoyed exchanging pictures of her grandchildren and my great grandchildren. She was so helpful when my husband passed away. My sincere condolences to her family and staff.

I was devastated to learn of Teresa's passing. She was not only a trusted professional whom we retained from CA to our move to SC for CPA skills, but she became a long-distance friend. My condolences to her beautiful family, of which she was so incredibly proud.
