Chelsea TRAYNOR

Chelsea Jo Traynor June 1, 1989 ~ Dec. 9, 2010 Resident of Concord Beloved daughter Chelsea, of Greg and Jeana Traynor, passed suddenly on December 9, when struck by a pickup truck while riding her bicycle to school at Rutgers University in New Jersey. Chelsea was born in Walnut Creek, CA and raised in Concord. She was the granddaughter of Forrest and Jean McCreary of Chillicothe, MO; John and Maximina Traynor of Sunnyvale, CA; and adopted grandmother Josephine Chapman of Martinez, CA. Chelsea was much loved by her surviving mother, younger brother Jared, grandmothers, aunts, uncles, cousins and good friend Andrew Palmer. She attended Sequoia Elementary and Middle School and graduated from Pleasant Hill's College Park High School in 2007. She attended Humboldt State University for three years and was currently attending Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ in the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences. Chelsea hoped to have a career in nutrition and nursing. Chelsea will be deeply missed and we will love you forever. Memorial Services will be held December 23, 2010 at 1pm at Christ the King Church, 199 Brandon Road, Pleasant Hill, CA.
