Lorraine D Hughey, of Billings, Mt., passed away following a fall in her home. Family members were at her side.
Lorraine graduated from Billings Sr. High School and Billings Business College. She moved to San Francisco and was employed by Chevron Oil Co. for 25 years, in the Accounting Dept. She was a member of the Chevron Retirees Assoc.
Lorraine served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, as a Tester. She was a Life Member and a National Director of the Navy League of the U.S., and of the Naval Sea Cadet Corps for 25 yrs.
She was a past Regent of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Anne Loucks Chapter. Also the Society of Mayflower Descendants CA, and the Ygnacio Valley Republican Women Federated.
Surviving her are her sisters, Carol J. Smith of Grants Pass, OR., and Faye Cornell of Redding, CA., son Thomas Harris of Antioch, CA.; son James Harris, daughter Cheryl Ford, granddaughter Athena Harris, and grandson Jacob Brown, all of whom live in Bellingham, WA.
Services will be held Saturday, February 15, at Oakmont Memorial Park and Mortuary, 2099 Reliez Valley Rd, Lafayette; at top of Grayson Rd. in Pleasant Hill. A viewing will be from 9 to 11am, with services at 11am. A grave site service will follow.
The family asks that donations, in lieu of flowers, be made to her friends' favorite charities.
