Resident of Etna, CA
Naomi went to be with the Lord on June 3, 2014 from complications from a stroke, surrounded by her family. Born in Catlin, Illinois on November 15, 1914, to Edward and Blanche (Hardesty) Farnum, the second of 7 children. She came to California during WWII and worked for a short time in the ship yard in Richmond, CA and then worked for JC Penney in Richmond where she met and married her husband Charles Musson. They were married for 40 years and had four daughters. Naomi loved being a mother and taking care of her home and raising 4 step-children as well as her four daughters. She was active in her church, New Life in Christ Ministry, in El Cerrito, CA up until the time she moved to Etna, CA. and was active in the Women's Missionary Council and was Sunday School Superintendent for several years.
Naomi was also known for her patriotism and and worked for several years as a poll worker in every election and volunteered her time on numerous political campaigns.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Musson, sister Violet Dolbee, Louise Powell, stepson Keith Musson, and grandson David Kirk. She is survived by 1 brother, Ed Farnum (Rona) of Tustin, CA, and 3 sisters, Doris Morgan of Fountain Valley, CA, Margie Rosenau of Venice, Fl., Betty Jo (Bill) Williamson of Salem, KY, children; Dina (Don) Dias of Baton Rouge, LA, Berneice (Gene) Wilkerson of Oklahoma, Charles Musson, Jr. of Oklahoma, Barbara (Richard) Lighthill, Etna, CA., Bonnie Sublett of Vacaville, CA., Karen (Bill) Kushner) of Danville, CA., and Jamie (Tim) Hussey of Santa Rosa, CA., 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grand children, 2 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Friday June 13 at 11:00 AM at Skyview Memorial Lawn, 200 Rollingwood Dr, Vallejo, CA.
