Patricia Nelson Armfield Obituary
Patricia Nelson Armfield
Aug. 16, 1926-Jun. 16, 2014
Resident of Danville
Patricia Nelson Armfield passed away Monday morning June 16, 2014 surrounded by family after a long battle with cancer.
She was born in Glendive Montana, August 16, 1926 and was raised and married in Spokane, Washington. She and her former husband moved to California in 1952. They lived in San Francisco and Walnut Creek California.
She was a long time member of Walnut Creek Presbyterian Church, and was involved as a Deacon, in Stephen Ministry, and as a volunteer in the library. She loved quilting, and her family now has those wonderful quilts as a memory and gift from her to cherish.
Pat was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her three children, daughters-in-law, and grandchildren adored her and will miss her strength, positive attitude, and smile that would always light up the room. She was an inspiration to her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Pat is survived by her three children and six grandchildren. Michael Armfield (Tavie); Los Altos, Benjamin Armfield and Tricia Armfield; William Armfield (Martha); Wilton, Jessica Armfield and Brendan Armfield; Karen Thompson, Danville, Matthew Thompson and Amanda Thompson.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Pat's life at 2:00pm on Friday July 18th, 2014, at Walnut Creek Presbyterian Church, 1801 Lacassie Ave Walnut Creek.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of the East Bay or Walnut Creek Presbyterian Church.
