I have tremendous respect for this great man and appreciate the information he passed on to me. We will always remember the legacy of Sifu John Yee, truly a great master of the Chinese martial arts.

I am sorry to learn of what I knew was probably a reality - the death of Sifu Yee. He and his son were my mentors in Shaolin Quan in the late 1970s when I helped arrange for them to teach in what was then the Marine Barracks on the Naval base on Treasure Island. Their patient yet firm kindness with their students will never be forgotten. Though I never reached my full potential then, I hope the Sifu would be pleased to know that his lessons about the inner power have always helped me to improve and (FINALLY!) taken root. Thank you, Sifu!
