Ralph passed away suddenly in Rocklin, CA, where he lived for the past year a half with his wife, son daughter-in-law. He touched many lives with his humor and famous one-liners.
Ralph was born in Pittsburg and attended Pittsburg High School. He served in the
Air Corp as a Corpsman and Musician. He retired from U.S. Steel after 42 years of service. He was an active member officer of the Pittsburg Elk's Lodge. He started playing trumpet as a teenager and went on to lead his own band and played for many occasions in the bay area. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, Conchita, and his family.
Ralph is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Conchita, devoted children Cynthia Hernandez (Robert-deceased), Steve Narez (Cindy) and Kathy Blessing (Robert) and grandchildren Natalie, Mason, Lauren (Duane), Matthew (Marisa), Ryan Anthony and great grandson, Jaden, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives friends. He is also survived by his sister Helen Ramirez and his brothers Genaro Narez William Narez. Preceding him in death are his father mother, Juan Mercedes Narez, brother Ben Narez sister Rose Rivera.
Ralph was a devoted husband, father friend and made an impression on everyone he met and will always be remembered and loved by everyone who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at 4pm with a vigil at 7pm at Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Funeral liturgy on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at 10am at Church of the Good Shepherd in Pittsburg. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Antioch.
