He graduated from Ohio State University and married Patricia Jones. He initially worked for Haskins and Sells, a CPA firm, but soon joined North American Aviation, an aerospace manufacturing company, which brought them to live in Fullerton, CA. He retired in 1980 as the Chief Financial Controlling Officer for NAA Autonetics. Tom and Pat had four children, Susan (Renno), Ann (Gipson), Tom, and Jim. Pat died in 1967, and Tom later married Olive Peterson. He delivered Meals on Wheels, was a Mason, a Boy Scout leader, and a member of the Fullerton First United Methodist Church. He dearly loved his family, including his 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He was generous and kind, a man of integrity, and a humble member of "The Great Generation". A Memorial Service will be held in Fullerton.
