Edward Cuevas Obituary
Edward Cuevas Jun. 6, 1931 - Feb. 3, 2013 Former Resident of Pinole Late of Vallejo Ed passed away peacefully at Kaiser Hospital in Vallejo on Sunday February 3, 2013. Ed was born June 6, 1931 in Richmond, Ca. to Ralph and Helen Cuevas. Ed attended Richmond schools and graduated from Richmond Union High in 1949. After serving in the Army, Ed spent much of his career as a machinist retiring from Rheem Manufacturing as a tool and die supervisor in 1990 after 28 years of service. Ed enjoyed his retirement years at his ranch in Lake County. Ed is survived by his wife of 27 years, Joyce. Siblings: Tom of Rossmoor, David of Pinole and Dolores of Sierra City. Children: Lewis (Jeannie) of Pleasant Hill, Chris (Samm) of Benicia and Lisa Rayo (Jorge) of Laurel, Maryland. Grandchildren: Sarah of Pleasant Hill, Andrew and Melissa of Laurel, Maryland. Ed is also survived by his step-daughter Laurie Parrish of Vallejo, step-granddaughter Christina Smith (Greg) and great grandson Giovanni of Dixon, Ca. A viewing will be held Tuesday February 12, 2013 from 3:00 to 8:00pm. A funeral service will be held Wednesday February 13, 2013 at 11:00am. Both viewing and funeral service will be at Skyview Memorial Lawn 200 Rollingwood Drive, Vallejo Ca. Burial and Military Honors will follow funeral at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon Ca. All funeral and burial arrangements are entrusted to the care of Skyview Memorial Lawn.
