Margaret Paula Baker, 70, died peacefully at her daughter's home on January 30, 2013 after a long battle with breast cancer. Family, friends, her beloved grandchildren and her sweet dog Snickers were her greatest joys. She loved practicing law, cooking, gardening, traveling, and visiting with family and friends.
Margaret was born in Sacramento, CA to Morris and Polly Carlin Pool. She attended El Cerrito High School, Cal State East Bay and Golden Gate School of Law.
Margaret is survived by her daughter, Betsy, son-in-law Jim, step-sons Edwin and Matt, sister Judy, brother-in-law Jack, ex-husband Ed, grandchildren Katie, Sarah, Emily, Allie, Matthew, Rachelle, Kaysee, Chris, Nick and William, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many close friends. Margaret will be greatly missed by all.
There will be a graveside service at the Gridley-Biggs Cemetery in Gridley, CA on February 15th at 2pm. Memorial donations can be sent in her name to the
for breast cancer research.
